Thank you so much for developing this app. Nothing else out there works.

I bought this because the description misled me into thinking I would be able to see MY location when accessing “my google maps” in this app. That is not the case. Yes, I can open “my google maps” on my iPhone with this- but I can do that in chrome or safari! This is no different, it does NOT localize where I am so if I’m in a new city that I’ve created a map for, it’s useless because I don’t know where I am. I’m going to request a refund.

I love to make my own Google Maps for traveling but they are unavailable on the Google Maps app. This app fills in the gap. Be aware that this not a replacement for Google Maps. No GPS. You use the two apps in tandem. Works great.

If the developer could add a radius feature. For example, if I could see the 10 mile radius around a certain point, this app would then be rated 5 Stars. Can you do that PLEASE...

I bought this app, opened it, and it immediately crashed. I restarted my phone and redownloaded the application, but the crashing continued. Dont buy this. Feeling a bit swindled by anothers lack of care and desire for money.

Works perfect opening Google my Maps! I was skeptical to spend the money, but now that it works, it is perfect, thank you!!!

A few bugs, a few typos, however, it lets you 1) Log in to your Google account, 2) Lists your maps and lets you select one, and 3) Displays that map with all routes, markers, etc on your iPad or iPhone, with full GPS support. If you want to navigate on maps you created in Google Map Engine - This does it!

Great companion going on trips. Developer continues to update app, which is very much appreciated.

Pulls up all my maps with the right icons. It cant pull descriptions or addresses which is somewhat problematic but you can easily see the locations on the map.

Seeing as it’s the only functioning and actively maintained 3rd-party Google My Maps (formerly MapsEngine Lite) app on the Appstore, it’s also by definition the best. Despite the VERY belated introduction of My Maps features in Google’s own maps app, My Pins is still very useful for accessing place marks through a list view. For some reason, you can only view a non-clickable list of place marks in Google’s app. In addition, My Pins has very handy (though limited) editing capabilities. The apps offline caching capabilities are indispensable when traveling. Overall, My Pins is no longer quite as essential for My Maps users as it was before Google added My Maps functionality to its own Maps app, but its still very, very useful. The only real areas for improvement are slow startup time and frequently having to re-log in. Both issues are longstanding and seem related to the way the app accesses the My Maps data. Since no other app has managed to figure out how to display My Maps maps on iOS, Im guessing this involves a degree of hackery that makes said issues unavoidable. The dev still regularly maintains the app though, so Im hopeful that one of these days hell fix these problems.

This is a waste of time! It does not do what it says it can do. I want a refund. This needs a lot of work to be worth five dollars.

This is the best program that allows you to see your Google maps data. Hands down. It uses Google maps and others and it allows you to cache the map and store it locally. Simply the best

I have nothing but praise for Nelson Kwan - he has managed to make a desktop only mapping function (ie GoogleMaps, ever since they dropped the ClassicMyMaps) MOBILE... The only reason I cant give this (MyPins) a 5 star review is because I cant edit icons on the go - which was one of my favorite functions of MyPlaces - I was able to in essence cross destinations off my ToDo list simply by changing their color on the road. And Im fairly certain this is not Kwans fault, but rather limitations Google has put on him (bad word, bad word). I am pleased Im again able to CREATE locations on the road - if only I could truly EDIT them - choose appropriate icon and color (especially color). So Kwan - keep going - youre the most responsive app creator Ive seen in the mapping engine world. And Google: Get with the program!

I love this app when traveling!! Hope can support Apple Watch for future use!

Great app but where did gps location disappear in the recent version? I cant find myself!

So, heard this was great app for iPhone to use with Google My Maps. Built map for NYC trip. Signed into Google through map and locations were there, BUT NO METADATA! So all addresses, phone numbers, and webpages are blank. So much for a good resource! I might as well use Safari on my iPhone. Dont waste $5!!! SCAM ALERT!

If you are a user of Google My Maps, this is the best app on the app store to pull up those maps and navigate to the various addresses youve saved.

This feels like some kind of hack, the way it runs through all the Google login screens on its own when it starts up. It does seem to function, but very roughly.

Ive had this app for several years. It used to work for saving My Maps with pins for offline use. Now it will cache them, but frequently the map itself disappears, and I am left only with my pins. There has been a major deterioration in what used to be a useful app. Very disappointing.
