Been waiting for an app like this ever since Google changed their custom maps which resulted in my business route planning becoming super tedious. The developer nailed it with this app!

Best app to make a map of places you want to visit. Cant live without it.

Repeating process and can not log in with Google account

Using iPhone 5 iOS 8.1.2. This can’t login google account. I expect that it is modified in next update.

I paid and purchased this app a year ago. While it worked perfectly back then its not working at all any more - I guess due to store issues? Anyway this is bizarre cause I havent even changed my country. How come this can even happen with a paid app? Shame, shame, shame.

It would be nice to add distance routes...

Was very frustrated when google moved to new api in my maps! But this is a great tool to accompany new google my maps, without any functionality sacrifice: layers, all new staff is working and syncing perfectly! Great app, my first companion during my trips.. Thanks, Nelson!

I have a route map for a 2-day bike ride on Google Maps, and I need to be able to follow the map while driving a support vehicle. This app allows me to do just that. Only way it could be better is if we could tweak the transparency of the layers, because the route overlaps the street names, making them difficult to read. Regardless, thank you!

As My Pins is the only functioning and actively maintained 3rd-party Google My Maps app on the Appstore, it’s also by definition the best. Despite Googles belated introduction of My Maps features in its own iOS maps app, My Pins is still invaluable for accessing place marks and place mark descriptions through a list view. In Googles app, you can only view a non-clickable list of place marks, and links inside place mark descriptions dont work. The implementation in My Pins is much more functional. In addition, My Pins has very handy (though limited) editing capabilities. And the apps robust offline caching capabilities are absolutely indispensable when traveling. The only real areas for improvement are slow startup time and frequently having to re-log in. Both issues are longstanding and seem related to the way the app accesses the Google My Maps data. Given that no other app has managed to figure out how to reliably display My Maps maps on iOS, Im guessing accessing and displaying My Maps data involves a degree of hackery that makes said issues unavoidable. As this app still gets regular maintainance updates, Im hopeful that one of these days these problems will get ironed out. Thank you for continuing to maintain this app, dev!

This update fixed the error that Google maps stopped displaying MyMaps in Google Maps, and it affected MyPins as well. Now its fixed in MyPins

Each time I try to save a location, I get an error pop up. Not having this feature defeats the purpose of having purchased this app. So far, of no use to me at all unless this is fixed.

I got this app because a bug in Googles app would not display many of my map points on a custom map. This app displayed everything flawlessly, and has a much better user interface: from the map legend, you can tap an entry and that entry is displayed on the map. In addition, it can cache a map in areas Google wont let you cache, such as in Morocco. Plus you can switch between 3 map providers:Google, Openmaps and Bing maps, which is highly useful in areas where maps are incomplete. I highly recommend this app. The only improvement I would like to see is a speed up: maps are initially slow to load. But its a very small price to pay for having 3 maps available instead of just one. Kudos!!!

This is not a tool for people who cant read a map. I use this to follow routes that I plot with my computer. Im a truck driver, and being able to draw in routes through business centers to the dock I need to get to, and to adjust routing to stick to truck routes, is very handy. I only wish Google included this functionality on their own.
