infuriating, worthless, and pointless app - offline mode does not work

they only possible reason to ever buy this app is that Googlers have not yet shipped iPhone version of offline function for Google My Maps (even though they support offline for every other doc type for iPhone in Google Drive).

so i bought this $5 P.O.S. app to get offline My Maps (aka cached map), except it doesn’t work reliably …. i.e., when most needed, the app randomly decides it needs an internet connection to refresh (DOH!) and then it sits there spinning attempting to find an internet connection
